I had to scan through random photographs of people in leather... and came to the question Why DID I chose this subculture? The Fetish culture is both attractive and repulsive to me...
I found that I've been more interested in a certain branch of fetishism...
The corset is a must-have item in this culture, It brings to my mind the idea of restriction and I read somewhere the phrase "Expression through Restriction" that underpins the fetish discourse.
So after some research I found out that there's a particular kind of fetish subversion that particularly appealed me...In some photographs I found a deep subversion of the venetian masks with feather and the traditional "Medico Della Peste" mask.
